Trey Songz is being accused of yet another sexual assault, and the singer is once again denying any wrongdoing. A woman has come forward accusing the 37-year-old of sexually assaulting her at a house party in Los Angeles, and now she’s reportedly filed a lawsuit seeking $20 million in damages.

Songz rose to fame in the late 2000s with a string of hits, including Can’t Help But Wait, and Heart Attack, which has helped him sell over 25 million records worldwide.

The rapper probably ‘can’t help but wait’ for the lawsuit to be over, and has issued a statement through a representative denying wrongdoing. The rep said that “It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here,” likely referring to a similar lawsuit filed last year by Ariel Mitchell, who is also representing the client in this case.

In the previous lawsuit, a woman accused Songz of sexual assault and filed a $10 million lawsuit seeking damages. However, an unnamed witness came forward and claimed that Mitchell tried to recruit her as a co-plaintiff against Songz, offering a potential settlement ranging between $100,000 and $200,000.

Mitchel denied the claims of witness tampering, saying that the claims were “knowingly false, libelous and defamatory.”

“Victims are coming forward every day,” Mitchell said. “Just know you are not alone, and this behavior is unacceptable. George Vrabeck and I will not be deterred by bullying or intimidation tactics and will continue our pursuit of justice for sexual assault victims of Trey Songz.”

The rapper's team claims that these allegations against him are a complete fabrication and that he “looks forward to having the facts fully aired.”

Songz has been in the courtroom before and at one point sued Dave Hester of Storage Wars over his signature catchphrase, “yuuup,” which Songz claimed has been his “signature sound” since 2009.

The rapper might have to write a few more hit songs if he ends up losing this $20 million lawsuit. His fortune is estimated to be $12 million. The singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer also tried to venture into acting, taking on a few small roles, but his foray into the silver screen never really took off.
