Olivia Wilde quietly sold her Los Angeles home for $4.2 million as she continues to navigate her child support dispute with her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis. The Don’t Worry Darling director didn’t own the home long. She purchased it with Jason in 2019 for $3.5 million. The property dates back to its 1928 construction, and it offers a direct view of the Silver Lake Reservoir.

Originally envisioned by Frankie Faulkner, one of Los Angeles' pioneering female architects, this roughly 2,800 sq. ft. dwelling underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2016 under the expertise of the renowned design firm DISC Interiors.

Nestled on a 0.13-acre hillside lot, the property boasts a two-car garage and ample street parking. The low-maintenance yard is thoughtfully landscaped with native and drought-tolerant plantings, including olive trees, various cacti species, a small patch of lush lawn, and a saltwater swimming pool in the backyard.

Indoors, a spacious living room is adorned with an original fireplace and the aforementioned barrel-vaulted ceiling. The sleek eat-in kitchen seamlessly opens to the dining area, featuring custom cabinetry, limestone countertops, and a blend of vintage and high-end appliances.

Though Olivia and Jason once owned the Los Angeles residence together, she took it following their split. Over the course of their nearly decade-long relationship, the pair amassed an impressive real estate portfolio, including a mansion-sized townhouse in Brooklyn.

Property records indicate that following the dissolution of their relationship, these real estate assets were divided, with the Brooklyn townhouse going to Sudeikis and sole ownership of the Silver Lake property being transferred to Olivia.

The identity of the Los Angeles property’s new buyer remains unknown, though they’re reportedly an entertainment attorney and his spouse, neither of whom are celebrities.

Olivia Wilde’s net worth currently stands at $12 million, while Jason Sudeikis’s net worth is more than double at $25 million.

Though the pair split over a year ago, they’re continuing to argue over child support of their two young children. In March, a judge rejected Jason's request to transfer the custody case to New York. Prior to this ruling, the actor had been actively contesting Olivia, attempting to move the custody dispute out of the California court system.

New York typically has less generous child support provisions compared to California, making this a significant win for Olivia, albeit one with substantial legal costs.

According to court documents filed by the actress, her legal team argued that while Jason has the financial means to engage in numerous legal actions, Olivia does not. They further asserted that Jason should not be permitted to place Olivia in financial hardship through the ongoing case.

Currently, the exact amount of child support that Jason is providing to Olivia, if any, remains unclear. In April, following the filing, she claimed that her ex-husband was not contributing any child support, despite his considerably greater personal wealth.
