Leonardo DiCaprio is the new owner of a $7.1 million property in Los Feliz. According to reports, the lavish property was previously owned by Modern Family actor, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The actor put the property on the market for $6.99 million in March. But it was sold for a little more than that.

The near-century old Spanish-style abode is located in the hillside Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz. Jennifer Akbari of Compass described the property that was built in 1928 as a rare gem.

And according to Mansion Global, this must be why it didn’t sit on the market for so long and was even sold over its asking price.

“My clients loved living in this home, and I’m sure the new owners are just as thrilled to make this house their home. The home has a lengthy celebrity pedigree that includes ownership by names including pop star Gwen Stefani and television producer Mark Brazill, records show,” Akbari said in a statement.

However, she didn’t reveal the name of the new owner of the property. But multiple publications are saying that DiCaprio was the one that purchased it.

The property boasts richly decorated bedrooms and a two-story formal entryway. It also has a kitchen, a library, a family room that doubles as a media room, an observation deck, and more.

Ferguson purchased the property in 2013 for $4.55 million using a trust. And before he bought the house, Gwen Stefani used to be its previous owner.

Last month, Dirt revealed that Ferguson and his partner, Justin Mikita bought a mansion in Encino for $8.7 million using his $25 million net worth

The 9,000-square-foot home is a mixture of natural stone, cedar cladding, and shou sugi ban or Japanese burnt wood siding. It also boasts of seven rooms and eight bathrooms.

The kitchen is fitted with Calcatta porcelain countertops and custom white oak cabinetry. It also has a temperature-controlled wine cellar and a walk-in bar.

The master suite opens to a massive balcony with a fire table. There are also dual walk-in closets and oversized windows in different areas of the property.

Ferguson and Mikita’s house also has a 12-person movie theater, a swimming pool, and a guest house complete with amenities.

As for DiCaprio, the actor currently resides in Malibu Colony, a private enclave known for being the hub of other famous celebrities and wealthy entrepreneurs.
