Jisoo is a South Korean singer, actress, and model under YG Entertainment and best known as the visual and one of the vocalists of the girl group Blackpink returned to Paris for Dior’s spring/summer 2023 show today, and the K-pop singer and house ambassador wore a truly timeless black mini dress for the occasion. Jisoo paired the strapless Dior number with fishnet tights, a black-and-white purse, and dark nails. She wore her hair down in soft waves.

The Blackpink singer sat in the front row of the design house’s show on Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week. For the occasion, Jisoo wore a black strapless dress with black tights paired with a mini Dior bag.

Jisoo was joined by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Maye Musk, Rosamund Pike and others in the front row.

Jisoo spoke to ELLE Hong Kong, via ELLE Australia, in June 2021 about her partnership with Dior and how she interprets her sense of style. “Only when you truly understand yourself can you find a style that suits you,” she said. “Then add your personal touches to really own the style. To be truly unique, you have to trust in yourself and yourself alone. Like me, I feel incredibly confident and brave when I wear Dior, and I hope that by sharing these experiences will help women love themselves even more.”

She added that the way she sees herself is very similar to the values of the brand. “Like Dior—elegant on the outside, bold and courageous within—I may have a gentle image,” she started. “But as an artist, I want to show the world that anything is possible.”

Jisoo’s star power has made its way to Dior. After the design house’s fall 2022 runway show, a photo Jisoo posted on Instagram standing under a giant Dior logo at the Tuileries Garden generated $1.74 million in media impact value, according to data and insights firm Launchmetrics. Jisoo’s Dior photo was ultimately the top post to come from Paris Fashion Week that season.

Similarly, the prior season, Dior and Jisoo scored the highest value post from the design house’s spring 2022 show.

Jisoo has been a major style star since Blackpink debuted in 2016. She regularly wears Dior at her many appearances, including most recently at the 2022 MTV VMAs where she wore a black lace gown.
